It's OK, there's plenty of room
Well, it's big. But... big! I've got plenty of room, it's on a desk in a fairly spacious room, and I can stand back. So I have the best of both worlds, both a very practical sharpness when I want to do a bit of image editing, and a very large surface area, so I can have several windows open, one for coding, one for online documentation, one for instant messaging and so on. I use it mainly for work. I find it's a great replacement for a 2-screen setup. I don't think I'll ever use full-screen mode again. There's no point. The only downside is that the USB hub is on the left and not on the back like on other smaller IIYama models in the same range, so the USB cables stick out a bit on the left of the screen. I think the manufacturer thought that this thing would often be mounted on a wall, a bit like a TV. I hesitated between this model and a panoramic, curved one, but in the end I'm very happy with this one, having height is great!
