I'm very pleased with my purchase of the LG 29WL500-B monitor. It offers excellent image quality thanks to its 29-inch IPS panel and Full HD resolution, which is ideal for multitasking. Colours are rich and viewing angles wide. The only downside is the lack of integrated speakers and height adjustment. All in all, it's an excellent screen for its price, especially suited to multimedia use and occasional gaming.
Not bad for watching movies. For gaming it's okay. Nowadays there is much better in terms of image delay, but for more money... Good screen for office work / watching series... For gaming not so good
The monitor is just right for office use. It's easy to set up and configure, and does what it's supposed to do. Special mention for the screen sharing and the OnScreen Control utility that can be downloaded from LG's website, which allows you to position other programs in various places on the screen and in multiple configurations. A must-have...
The display is top notch in terms of the various settings. I use it in 'VIF' mode, in my opinion the best colometry you can expect but the other modes are very good too.
In terms of gaming, the AMD FreeSync option is very easy to activate. I use it with an 'old' MSI Radeon RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC graphics card and I have to say that it lives up to its promise... I think that a curved one is better if you are the 'real' gamer, but that doesn't prevent you from getting a very good result.
The foot is adjustable in inclination but not in height...
It also comes with an HDMI cable...
In terms of consumption, it is also in category E whereas most other monitors are often in category G... Not to be underestimated given the ever-increasing cost of electricity!
THE + : Perfect screen for office, gaming and video. The Ultrawide is really a plus and immersive. In short, it does the job for any use and a small additional mention for its energy consumption. The price too...
