Balanced price/performance ratio, meets my expectations
- Received on time, perfect packaging/protection;
- bought without operating system, it was a breeze to install everything (via usb stick with win 10, which I had), simple and clear explanations;
- Quick start up, possibility to choose balanced mode, performance, ventilation, battery saving; 4 keyboard backlight modes (I use the lowest one, or I just stop for movies); 2 ventilation modes (but possibility to leave in automatic for a more adapted ventilation)
- Game level: I tested GW2 (MMORPG) and Shadow of the Tomb raider: Picture quality is great, responsive, sound is good (but I admit I prefer headphones)... For the price, it met my expectations.
- For the price, it's a great device... For the battery, it lasts more than 2h30 while watching movies/series + internet; for the office, I haven't had the opportunity to test it for more than 3 hours, so I can't really say. For games, I prefer to leave it plugged in so...?
- Keyboard: a bit of trouble with the small digital PAD, but you get used to it; fragile backlighting (already three keys, some of which don't work anymore, and not the most used ones); the fact that it's red means you have to use the backlighting in the dark, whereas you could have done without it with yellow or green (but at the same time it makes the keyboard almost invisible during a movie, so it's good...)
- Perfect for amateur media creation (film, drawing)
- Personally, for everything that is games and media, I use an extra external hard drive for storage. (Games run perfectly while installed on the external hard drive, no slowdown).
