With a new, updated design, theUltimaker 2+ Connect offers a new, cleaner look with a change in component colour and a modified logo. It also features a new 2.4" colour touch screen for easy management and setup.
The Ultimaker 2+ Connect is more powerful than the model it replaces, with new generation components including a more ergonomic feeder, a more rigid tray support and a USB port. It also has an improved manual levelling system, which makes calibration quicker and easier.
The Ultimaker 2+ Connect benefits from improved security. It is compatible with the Ultimaker filter bonnet (not included) and Air Manager (not included). Designed specifically for the manufacturer's printers, this bonnet features a ventilation system to filter out fine flying particles released during extrusion.
A 3D printer ready to use
With its ease of use and reliable components, the Ultimaker 2+ Connect is ideal for small businesses looking to save money, as well as for teachers looking to improve their students' skills.
The Ultimaker 2+ Connect can be connected via Wi-Fi, Ethernet cable or USB to your PC. It is compatible with many manufacturer and third party filaments. Ultimaker works with several filament brands including BASF, DSM and Kimya. It can accommodate nozzles ranging from 0.25 to 0.8 mm for speed or fine detail. This machine features a simple extrusion.
With an updated design, the Ultimaker 2+ Connect requires very little maintenance. The maintenance required on the machine is approximately 20 minutes per month, allowing for continuous use. This can be done quickly and easily and does not require any special tools.
