For intuitive, high-performance 3D printing
The Ultimaker S5 3D printer is equipped with a colour touch screen that provides detailed information and a GCODE preview. This 4.7" screen makes the configuration of the printer easier and guides the user through the operations to be carried out.
The Print Cores are automatically detected by the printer via an EEPROM chip and are adapted to the type of material: a Print Core AA prints the building material and the Breakaway, a Print Core BB prints the soluble support material while the Print Core CC prints the abrasive materials. Interchangeable in seconds, Print Cores are available in different sizes (0.25, 0.40, 0.80mm).
Connect the Ultimaker S5 via Wi-Fi, ethernet or USB. Thanks to NFC technology, the S5 detects the type of material loaded. Frequent firmware updates bring the latest features and improvements directly to the printer.
Reliable, high quality 3D printing
The S5 has a touch sensor that scans the platen in multiple locations. This levelling is done either by quick self-levelling or by full self-levelling at multiple points. This ensures that the deck is perfectly level for an ultra-flat first layer with enhanced adhesion.The S5's feeder has been redesigned (version 3) to incorporate a roll end sensor. The printer automatically pauses and notifies you when it is time to replace the roll. A reinforced toothed wheel prevents wear and tear. An ergonomic lever makes loading the filament easier.
Monitor your prints in real time from Cura with the integrated camera control. Glass front doors protect prints by limiting access and controlling airflow. The power supply is now integrated into the printer for less clutter.

Ultimaker Essentials is included with the Ultimaker S5 printer. This suite of software consists of the cutting software, Cura Entreprise to prepare your 3D files, Ultimaker Digital Factory to allow you to manage your printers remotely, and also the Ultimaker 3D printing Academy. Finally you can also easily access the Ultimaker Marketplace to make even more successful and perfect 3D prints.
