Overview

A simple, efficient and Plug & Play Gigabit Switch

D-Link DGS-108GL is an unmanageable switch ideal for small businesses and home use. It is economical, efficient and reliable. It is very affordable and can be used to expand a Gigabit LAN and connect more devices. Plug & Play, it works right out of the box and requires no special configuration. The compact size and metal design allow it to be easily integrated anywhere. The absence of a fan ensures quiet and unobtrusive operation. In accordance with the IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet standard, the switch automatically reduces the load on idle ports to protect the environment and reduce power consumption.

    Good value for money

The only missing feature of the DGS108 (which I know well), which I had not seen before purchase, is that it does not have the coloured LEDs to indicate the connection speed (green/orange). I'm very happy with this product because it takes up less space and is cheaper than the DGS 108. (installed for 1 month in a cold basement and no problems)
