The be quiet! Silent Base 802 offers you the advantage of being able to adapt to your needs for design, silence or performance. To this end, it offers two types of top panel and two types of front panel. The first solid panel perfectly complements the design of the Silent Base 802 and ensures quiet operation. The second mesh panel is much more air permeable, allowing it to maximise ventilation and watercooling performance.
The interchangeable front panels also contribute to the design, silence and cooling performance of the system. The standard front panel allows you to enjoy more silence while the mesh front panel favours the airflow to get more performance from your components while ensuring low temperatures.
The be quiet! Silent Base 802 PC case can accommodate up to seven fans, three of which are natively mounted (three Pure Wings 2 140 mm fans). The design of the air inlets guarantees superior cooling performance. Also compatible with watercooling systems, with front, top and rear slots, the Silent Base 802 has an easy top-mounted radiator installation system to simplify your installation.
The Silent Base 802 is guaranteed to be a silent cathedral. The front and sides are equipped with extra thick damping mats of up to 10 mm , which allow for maximum stability and superb noise reduction capabilities.The decoupled PSU support, motherboard tray and hard drive cages also minimise vibration. The Silent Base 802's body is made entirely of metal, which ensures the stability of the case and improves haptic perception.
The Silent Base 802 Window, with its beautiful tempered glass window, is not only a beautiful enclosure, but an ingenious one. It offers a wealth of functionality and clever features that allow you to achieve almost any configuration for your E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ATX PC. It allows you to install a 432mm long graphics card and a 185mm high fan. It is simply the ideal base for creating your powerful system. It is extremely versatile in design and has a dual hard drive rack. Its functional power supply cover perfectly covers the cables as well as the power supply unit. By removing the small cover, you can install a 360 mm or 420 mm heatsink at the front. The power supply unit can be easily installed from the back using the bracket for the magnet.
On the I/O panel you will find a USB 3.1 Type C connector which allows you to use all your latest hardware. Finally, the 4-stage fan controller will allow you to manually adjust the speed of up to six fans or connect them all to a single PWM signal.

Excellent silent case despite its three included fans.
Note that it comes with two front plates, one improving ventilation as shown in the photo and a second equipped with noise-reducing foam, as with the plate on the left side.
The computer has become an essential accessory for everyday life; to be deprived of it is felt like an amputation; the LDLC team is very reactive and immobilises the computer for a minimum of time; very satisfied with their advice and services.

Fortunately it's a full case with foam for integrated noise reduction, and I've got anti-noise headphones, otherwise it wouldn't be bearable. Be Quiet have surely lost some of their prestige as they've strayed towards RGB, and they're becoming less and less competent, which is a bit disappointing.
Totally overpriced.
The case houses a B850 motherboard with a 9800x3D and an RTX 5070Ti card. By paying 180€, I thought I'd be safe in terms of silence and cooling. However, this case suffers from several faults which are due to (1) the problem of being too big (2) the presence of low-end fans.
At 25°C in the room;
- The case's 3 fans are very noisy as soon as you exceed 900 RPM, and for office work I'm bothered by the noise.
- In game (CP 2077), side panel closed (GPU 55° CPU 70°). Side panel open (GPU 50° CPU 65°), so 5°C more.
The case is too bulky, the 2 pure wings fans on the front struggle to blow and the one at the back gives off almost no heat. Opening the top side grille doesn't change anything.
To remedy this, I'm thinking of changing the 3 fans (pure wings 4, which are less noisy and more powerful), and putting the other 3 in top extraction (or putting an AIO on top for the CPU).
This is the 4th or 5th large-tower case I've used, and it's the best I've ever had.

Very nice, high-quality case, big enough to fit any configuration inside.
The case has a very good airflow, which means that it cools very well while remaining extremely quiet.
The dust filters are easy to access and clean.
The easy opening of the side panels at the touch of a button is also very pleasant.
The only small fault I have is that there's not enough room on the side of the case for the cables, although once everything's in place and attached properly there's no problem (bearing in mind that I have 8 fans with hub icue from Corsair).
Very fast delivery from LDLC as usual.
The modularity of the panels so you can switch easily between sound comfort and fan breathing is a huge plus.
And the case is simply magnificent.
Great case, ultra modular. Practical push buttons for removing the panels without forcing. The ability to change the front and top panels to choose between airflow and silence is really cool too.
A sober, effective case that's easy to hold thanks to its format. Be careful, however, to take into account its size, which can be impressive once delivered.
