The be quiet! Shadow Base 800 DX is a high-end case optimised for efficient airflow while offering quiet operation and discreet ARGB lighting on the front. The be quiet! Shadow Base 800 DX offers enough space inside to accommodate the largest components, such as graphics cards up to 430 mm in length and motherboards up to E-ATX format. On the cooling side, 3 Pure Wings 3 140 mm fans are pre-installed and the case can accommodate 420 mm watercooling on the front and top.

The person who helped me gave me good advice.
Very satisfied.
This tower replaces a 10-year-old Zalman tower, which had misaligned fans.
But the first thing I noticed when I reassembled my PC inside it was how quiet it was.
The rear panel has a small insulating layer, and the fans do the job very well while remaining unobtrusive.
The RGB is nice, but I would have liked to be able to choose the light intensity using the buttons on the tower (the intensity is a bit harsh on the eyes and too distracting).
Assembly was super easy. The spacers and fans were already installed, there are enough screws provided to attach the motherboard, hard drive, graphics card and power supply, and cable management was a breeze.
I received it a few weeks ago, and I can already see that the front panel filters cat hair very well. I'll have to wait a few months of use to form an opinion on the dust filter.
This case is beautiful, it's silent when the computer is running, and it allows you to neatly organise all the cables. Top notch.
I thought my old case was imposing, this one is even more so. It's perfect for anyone who wants space and a sober look with few frills: the little light strips on the front don't assault the eye and are just right to show that this isn't just a desktop computer. I imagine that the hidden space for the cables is just as voluminous (assembly carried out by LDLC technicians) because I can hardly see anything. Mounted with three fans on the front, and two on the back, I think it'll breathe just fine!
It's the first time I've bought a tower at this price. I'm not at all disappointed. There's plenty of space, which makes it easy to install and maintain the components.
