    Excellent product

Spacious, modular, good sturdiness. Small downside, coming from an R5 the power button is not as pleasant (simple tact switch).
It has a slight wind noise when the airflow increases.

    A highly modular medium-tower enclosure

FRACTAL cases never disappoint! This new model offers a wide range of combinations, plenty of space for very large cooling systems, and USB3.0 and USB-C connectors on the front.

    Very good box

For my part, I'm going to summarise the opinions already posted.
Yes, great casing and screwless maintenance. I'm switching from the previous version to this one, so I have (almost) nothing to criticise about the product.
I agree that you can do everything with this box and that it adapts to all configurations, but it's complex and the documentation isn't precise enough.
I'm changing cases because the on/off button has failed, so yes it's a weak point in this equipment.
As for the rest, it comes with good, silent fans and is roomy enough to accommodate any graphics card, so it's really good equipment. The filters, walls and front panels are all easy to dismantle. The cable routing is very well thought out. Last but not least, the soundproofing is really good, which is the most important thing ;-) for me.
In short, we're on the verge of excellence.

    Careful delivery, top product

I already had a previous-generation Fractal Design case. I've noticed a number of improvements, in particular the side panels that can be removed without screws, a USB-C port on the front, and a modified and improved interior layout. The cable management is as good as ever. The overall quality of the case is excellent, the fans make no noise, and the case in general is perfectly silent, with excellent insulation. The numerous filters ensure that there will be no dust in the case for a long time to come.
It's worth noting that it is possible to install a 5"1/4 optical drive (a bluray burner in my case), but be sure to read the instructions carefully, as a support piece needs to be turned through 90°, the front fans need to be relocated, etc. I didn't see/understand it at first!
Inverting the inner plate to allow numerous 3.5" hard drives to be fitted is not easy either.
In the end, the only real fault is that the numerous possibilities for configuring the case would benefit from slightly better instructions. It's true that there are diagrams, but they're not all very clear.

    the best of the best

top quality as usual with fractal

very nice finish, good metal for the walls and brushed metal on the front, it's beautiful, very beautiful, very very beautiful
perfect for forty-somethings like me who are past the age of RGB on the glass side, its sobriety is matched only by its elegance (I almost bought the fractal with wooden slats on the front ^^)

dust filters everywhere, soundproofing foam everywhere, perfect ergonomics and cable management
having previously had an ARC midi R2 (semi) mesh fractal, I've only had to clean it once in 9 years (you're not dreaming) and I've hardly had to remove anything, so imagine with this monster that's going to put a stop to all foreign bodies
everything opens effortlessly and is easy to access, and everything inside is modular (but really)

in short, this fractal R7 has everything going for it, it's close to perfection, but are we really surprised by this? no, if you're like me and used to this brand
it's not cheap, but you have to pay for quality, don't you? and the quality is there, in every area.

I'm not going to change brands with this camera.
