The be quiet! Light Base 500 LX reinvents the mid-tower PC case by combining aesthetics, stylish lighting effects, functionality and efficiency. Designed for hardware enthusiasts and high-performance configurations, this chassis stands out with its elegant and refined design, pre-installed high-performance ARGB fans and intelligent internal layout that facilitates installation and optimises airflow. Its spacious layout accommodates large components while maintaining a clean and organised interior, an ideal solution for those who want to combine silence, power and visual style in their setup.
ARGB ventilation for good airflow
The Light Base 500 LX comes with four pre-installed 120mm PWM Light Wings LX fans for efficient airflow and striking ARGB lighting. Three of them, installed on the side with inverted blades, showcase the most aesthetic side of the fan, while the rear fan ensures efficient extraction of hot air. The case also features an ARGB control button on the I/O panel and a 6-port ARGB/PWM hub, leaving room to connect additional fans or lighting.
Spacious case and optimised installation
Beneath its compact lines, the Light Base 500 LX hides a surprising amount of interior space. It supports radiators up to 360 mm, an ATX motherboard, and graphics cards up to 400 mm. The storage bracket can accommodate 1 HDD and 2 SSDs simultaneously, while leaving enough room for cable management behind the motherboard tray. This thoughtful design simplifies installation and ensures a clean and efficient layout for even the most ambitious configurations.
Modern compatibility and flexibility
be quiet! has designed the Light Base 500 LX to be fully compatible with modern connectivity trends: the motherboard tray supports designs with rear connectors (such as ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero or Gigabyte Project Stealth), allowing for integration without visible cables. To achieve this, the power supply and storage bracket can be reversed, maximising installation flexibility without sacrificing available slots.
