The be quiet! Pure Base 500DX is a mid-tower case with a quiet design that allows you to assemble almost any configuration based on a mini-ITX, micro-ATX or ATX motherboard. The optimised interior space allows for up to 5 SSDs, a 190mm high fan and a 369mm graphics card. The tempered glass side panel offers an unobstructed view of the components inside your PC case and the ARGB backlighting brings a touch of gaming.
Be Quiet! has taken care of the quiet operation by installing three 140mm Pure Wings 2 fans while emphasizing its gaming look with its first ARGB case. It also offers numerous cable management options to hide unwanted cables and optimise airflow.
The Pure Base 500DX offers generous dimensions for the installation of high-end graphics cards and large cooling systems up to 190mm high. Fans or radiators up to 360 mm can be easily installed in the front. The upper area offers space for fans or radiators up to 240 mm.
Three pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans with optimised blades ensure perfect airflow and constant cooling. Despite the compact design of the case, the front and rear fans are 140mm models, ensuring very quiet operation. As an option, three additional 140 mm fans can be installed.
The power supply cover perfectly covers the cables, the power supply unit and contains a double hard disk rack. The double HDD cage with decoupled brackets reduces vibrations and helps to maximise silence. It can also be repositioned to fit radiators up to 360mm in front. Using the power supply bracket, the power supply can be easily installed from the rear.
ARGB LEDs offer a variety of colours and styles to customise the appearance of the enclosure both indoors and outdoors. You can optionally synchronize the lighting with your ARGB motherboard or controller.

Once assembled, the box looks good, but it's quite a pain to assemble.
There's not much space for cables. The 2 slots for sata disks each require a power cable, as you have to use the bent end of the cable.
Only 2 2.5-inch disk slots.
Finally, it's not easy to move around.
As far as LDLC is concerned, nothing to say impeccable.
A very good case, beautifully finished, well thought out for assembly.
Nothing is missing, including the various screws, the dust filter associated with the case, and the fans.
The fans are very efficient and above all very quiet.
Accepts ATX motherboards, CPU cooler 165mn high, graphics card + 330mn, which means you can upgrade your PC without changing the case.
Attractive, clean assembly but rather noisy and lacks front USB. No DVD player slot
I have just received the package (impeccable delivery as usual with LDLC) and I am very pleasantly surprised.
The quality of the case is just incredible. I've just received the package and I'm really surprised by the quality of the case. It's really heavy, steel all around, soundproofing on the back plate, cleverly placed cable covers, the case is really top notch for a perfect cable management.
My list of criteria was long and this case ticked all the boxes and more.
This case is nice and the LED possibilities are very varied. The ARGB sync with my Asus B550M-Plus motherboard works well. A nice surprise is that there are not only LEDs on the front panel, but also inside the case, which is quite light and the design is really well thought out. Compared to my old Antec cases (P180mini, P180), the assembly of the components is much easier and the result is really airy and clean. the difference is amazing.I chose this case for its size: wide (able to support a 19cm high fan, that's rare), not very high for an ATX format and not too long either.The 3 fans provided are not bad but not inaudible either.small defect: the dismantling of the front panel is hot all the same, even by pulling very hard it does not come, I was afraid to break it. You have to help by pushing on the plastic lugs from the inside. I greased it afterwards, it's a bit better. It should come together with time.
