The be quiet! Pure Base 500DX is a mid-tower case with a quiet design that allows you to assemble almost any configuration based on a mini-ITX, micro-ATX or ATX motherboard. The optimised interior space allows for up to 5 SSDs, a 190mm high fan and a 369mm graphics card. The tempered glass side panel offers an unobstructed view of the components inside your PC case and the ARGB backlighting brings a touch of gaming.
Be Quiet! has taken care of the quiet operation by installing three 140mm Pure Wings 2 fans while emphasizing its gaming look with its first ARGB case. It also offers numerous cable management options to hide unwanted cables and optimise airflow.
Generous interior space
The Pure Base 500DX offers generous dimensions for the installation of high-end graphics cards and large cooling systems up to 190mm high. Fans or radiators up to 360 mm can be easily installed in the front. The upper area offers space for fans or radiators up to 240 mm.
Ultra-quiet operation
Three pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans with optimised blades ensure perfect airflow and constant cooling. Despite the compact design of the case, the front and rear fans are 140mm models, ensuring very quiet operation. As an option, three additional 140 mm fans can be installed.
Neat interior
The power supply cover perfectly covers the cables, the power supply unit and contains a double hard disk rack. The double HDD cage with decoupled brackets reduces vibrations and helps to maximise silence. It can also be repositioned to fit radiators up to 360mm in front. Using the power supply bracket, the power supply can be easily installed from the rear.
ARGB LEDs to illuminate your games
ARGB LEDs offer a variety of colours and styles to customise the appearance of the enclosure both indoors and outdoors. You can optionally synchronize the lighting with your ARGB motherboard or controller.
Main features:
Medium tower case with ARGB backlighting for motherboards in the following formats: ATX, micro-ATX, mini-ITX
Tempered glass side panel
Efficient cooling system (3 x 140mm Pure Wings 2 fans included)
3 removable dust filters
Designed for watercooling radiators up to 360 mm
Power supply: 225 mm long (258 mm without 3.5" HDD cage)
After almost 20 years with the same case, I decided to invest in a very nice case, but it's a shame that the FX version only comes in black. There's enough room to put the equipment in place, except on the cabling side behind the card, where an extra centimetre would be welcome. I added 3 white Be quiet light wings fans behind the front panel in order to have my FX version. Once running, it's magnificent. Good quality case, well finished.

Oh, the beautiful case!
The design is very good. However, it lacks space:
-Lack of space (fixing some of the CM screws is not obvious. Including the case interface). Cable management not always optimal (hard disk cabling, cable routing from the power supply, etc.).
-Lack of front USB ports (only 1 + 1 USB-c).
-Audible when ventilating.

Not so big after all, but the quality is there and the design is a success
Superb! First impressions: it's heavy, solid, well thought-out, all the screws can be removed by hand, and there's a handy rear frame for routing the power supply. There are dust filters everywhere (sliding underneath and magnetic on top) and another good point: 3 large 140mm fans that can be fixed in several places. That's a nice touch!
I installed an ATX Asus TUF Gaming B650+. This ATX format fits and as the case is wide, the graphics card (4060) and the processor fan fit in easily. However, there's not that much space left and I had to remove all the removable parts to fit my Seasonic Connect 750 Gold power supply (100% modular) because of its remote connector bar. It's a bit tricky to fit, but hey... this case is pretty compact and I'm happy with it.
One last word on the glass and LEDs, because that's why we chose it. The glass is thick and there's a button on the front that lets you choose between several colour modes for the RGB strip: monochrome that scrolls from top to bottom (all the shades are selectable) or multicolour. I'm not usually a fan of 'matte my beautiful leds everywhere' type boxes, but I have to admit that this is quite successful, as the light from the strip illuminates the interior and you can see the reflections through the glass. You can also simply turn it off.
In short, I'm very happy with the result once it's fitted.

Not practical
Once assembled, the box looks good, but it's quite a pain to assemble.
There's not much space for cables. The 2 slots for sata disks each require a power cable, as you have to use the bent end of the cable.
Only 2 2.5-inch disk slots.
Finally, it's not easy to move around.
As far as LDLC is concerned, nothing to say impeccable.

Compliant, well finished.
A very good case, beautifully finished, well thought out for assembly.
Nothing is missing, including the various screws, the dust filter associated with the case, and the fans.
The fans are very efficient and above all very quiet.
Accepts ATX motherboards, CPU cooler 165mn high, graphics card + 330mn, which means you can upgrade your PC without changing the case.

Just excellent
I have just received the package (impeccable delivery as usual with LDLC) and I am very pleasantly surprised.
The quality of the case is just incredible. I've just received the package and I'm really surprised by the quality of the case. It's really heavy, steel all around, soundproofing on the back plate, cleverly placed cable covers, the case is really top notch for a perfect cable management.
My list of criteria was long and this case ticked all the boxes and more.

Easy to assemble
This case is nice and the LED possibilities are very varied. The ARGB sync with my Asus B550M-Plus motherboard works well. A nice surprise is that there are not only LEDs on the front panel, but also inside the case, which is quite light and the design is really well thought out. Compared to my old Antec cases (P180mini, P180), the assembly of the components is much easier and the result is really airy and clean. the difference is amazing.I chose this case for its size: wide (able to support a 19cm high fan, that's rare), not very high for an ATX format and not too long either. The 3 fans provided are not bad but not inaudible either.small defect: the dismantling of the front panel is hot all the same, even by pulling very hard it does not come, I was afraid to break it. You have to help by pushing on the plastic lugs from the inside. I greased it afterwards, it's a bit better. It should come together with time.

INCREDIBLE
Incredible box, LEDs powerful enough to light up even during the day. Sent and received smoothly without breakage (despite FedEx). The AirFlow is perfect. The colour modes are great and there is always a constant and a flashing one as well as a multicolour one. I highly recommend it!

Very nice case
I am very happy with the case. Even my wife who is not a gamer was charmed and won over by its design.
The case is very quiet after a week of intense use for gaming, the case remains very quiet
