By placing the Mousetrapper Alpha centrally in front of you, you benefit from a good ergonomic working position, with your arms against your body and your hands close to the keyboard. In this position, you can both prevent and often alleviate the strains that can occur when working off axis, as you do when using a conventional computer mouse. With a Mousetrapper, you no longer need to make large movements to reach your mouse on the desk. The wrist rest is wide and offers support and relief for the neck, shoulders, arms and hands.
The Mousetrapper Alpha has a special control pad. With your index, middle and ring fingers placed on the control pad, you direct the cursor on the screen with simple movements while the pad moves very smoothly in both dimensions. You can also click directly on the pad where you want. You can switch fingers and toggle between those of the right and left hand to avoid too much strain.
