The Portable 4K Acquisition Solution by Blackmagic Design
TheUltraStudio 4K Mini is a compact, high-performance Thunderbolt 3 portable capture and playback solution from Blackmagic Design. Featuring the latest broadcast technology, this model has 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and analogue connectivity. The UltraStudio gives you broadcast-quality 8- and 10-bit high dynamic range acquisition in all formats up to 4K DCI at 60p, and 12-bit high dynamic range acquisition in all formats up to 4K DCI at 30p. Its front panel features push buttons, an LCD display for monitoring and setup, an XLR microphone input and a ¼" headphone jack. TheUltraStudio 4K Mini includes a USB port for connecting a keyboard or mouse. In addition, it will act as a trickle charge for your laptop when connected to the Thunderbolt 3 port, and even incorporates an SD card reader for instant access to your camera cards!

This technology ensures low latency and precise timing, giving you excellent capture and playback. Power is supplied directly through the Thunderbolt 3 connection, making this Blackmagic Design model a portable and convenient everyday solution.
Extensive Connectivity
TheUltraStudio 4K Mini offers a connection to a wide range of video equipment. It features an SDI input and output, an HDMI output for monitoring on TVs and projectors, and an analogue balanced and YUV/NTSC/PAL analogue video input for archiving content from older analogue broadcast recorders. In addition, the two SDI outputs can carry fill and key signals! It includes a reference input for synchronising playback to broadcast systems as well as RS-422 remote control. The UltraStudio 4K Mini also features an additional HDMI input and a balanced analogue audio output for studio audio monitoring.
