Does the job
This micro docking station with an unpronounceable name fulfils its functions perfectly. Connected to a Dell Latitude 5420 with Ubuntu Linux 20.04, all ports are recognized directly, I had no problems in over a month of daily use.
In the few downsides I can find:
- there is no power button, which means you have to have the computer open, the circle-shaped "LED" is not a power button
- The length of the cable excludes the use of a stand for the laptop, if you use the screen next to a bigger one (comfort, etc.), the dock "hangs" and it's not cool for the USB plug
- I hadn't noticed, but there's no Ethernet connection (the description is not misleading), which makes it a bit less interesting at home, either you switch to WiFi or you have to unplug a second cable :/
And if you have to move around with it, you won't feel its weight in your backpack ;)
