I bought this station to connect a 2nd screen to my laptop.
The USB-C socket is not powerful enough to power the screen. The HDMI socket doesn't work with the newer screen but I was able to plug in the older screen. The USB sockets work well.
Mind you, the cable is very short.
Very good product, no need for drivers on my Windows 11 at work. I highly recommend this product.
Practical, no drivers to install and compatible with the Linux kernel (tested with Debian 12) as advertised.
Small and efficient. It's a great little device, but it's also a great piece of equipment.
