At first everything worked fine, then one month after purchase, an HDMI port no longer worked, 3 months later, the USBC adapter no longer worked - 4 months later the 2nd HDMI port no longer worked. It's just too much.
I bought 2 of them and it works on both.
Very disappointed!
Buying for a Linux configuration, the utilities and drivers are very old and dated, do not work at all and worse still the little documentation are hosted on the Waybackmachine .... a real lack of seriousness for a product unable to do a simple task.
Hello, functional device but when I wanted to buy another one, I found one 20% cheaper on another site (120€ TTC compared to 149.94€ TTC on LDLC).
4 stars because it was a bit of a pain to get it to work on Linux.
I bought it to run 2 additional screens on a laptop running Linux Mint where I only had one HDMI port.
In the end I had to connect one screen to the PC's HDMI port and one to the docking station (not quite what I'd planned).
Nonetheless, it's very practical, as everything now plugs into a USB port and my computer doesn't have enough. So I leave the minimum plugged into the PC (the mouse and the docking station) and everything else is plugged into the docking station. It's much safer in the end, given the configuration of my office, there are no more wires running all over the place, everything is grouped together and there's no need to unplug one or other of the devices depending on what's needed at the time.
This product works very well on my ASUS laptop, but does not work on my SAMSUNG S5E tablet.
