Install this removable ICY BOX IB-2242SAS-12G with Mini SAS HD connector (up to 12 Gbit/s) in a 5.25" bay of your enclosure to enjoy an extended storage solution of 4 2.5" SATA/SAS hard drives or SSDs. Easy to install and use, this enclosure will allow you to optimise the space inside your case by supporting SAS and SATA hard drives with high transfer rates (SATA III 6 Gbit / s and SAS III 12 Gbit / s). This mobile rack has a cooling system with 2 x 40mm cooling fans and an aluminium case design for optimal heat dissipation. Finally, it is equipped with locks that protect the hard drives from unauthorised access.
