I take Seasonic to have good gear, and after only 3 years the fan starts to screw up, a terrible noise of something that jams. In short, I'm going to put a noctua on it and never buy this brand again.
The power supply does the job quietly with a recent GC. Nothing to complain about.
The semi-modular side is enough for me.
Well, it's only a power supply. But it does the job and stays quiet. So everything is ok. What more can I say?
The power supply itself seems to be of good quality, to be seen in use. The connectors are well supplied without more, and could be of better quality.
It is quiet and this is very welcome. It powers without problems: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Ti + 1 SSD + 1NVME + 1 HDD + 1 DVD burner + 12w external speaker powered by usb port.
The only problem was the defective power cable which was shorting out with crackling (too much play in the connection). The only problem was that the power cable was not working properly and was shorting out (too much play in the connection). The problem is solved by replacing it with another one in my possession. SEASONIC, can do better!
NB: out of 2 power supplies purchased, only one was affected by this defect.
I bought this product on 28/05/2020, it works great ( rtx 2060 with a ryzen 5 3600, tuf gaming motherboard... ) but last night it made a strange noise I don't know where it comes from for me it's in the power supply box but this morning nothing more after that for the rest it works very well and it's very quiet
