Particularly quiet, good length cables, nothing to complain about. One point to note: it's a semi-modular power supply: the motherboard power cables are not disconnectable. Now, a PC power supply without motherboard cables... ;-)
Bought it 17 months ago, no worries, still quiet as the day I bought it. This PSU plus a small Ryzen in an ssd and you have a quiet and efficient setup for cheap.
Same remark as another buyer here; bought in April 2019, the power supply worked great for a few months, then for a few weeks now the fan is clearly making an abnormal noise. Nothing unbearable (yet), but a mechanical rubbing/rattling noise can be heard irregularly. This is certainly due to a balancing or moulding fault in the fan. On 80plus GOLD power supplies running 24/7, I have never encountered this problem at Seasonic or LDLC ... Disappointing! It remains to be seen what the Be-quiet after-sales service is worth... And to cross my fingers that this is not a more or less generalized defect ...
I received this power supply two months ago as part of a new PC purchase. I had chosen this product for its supposedly high quality and in particular for its supposedly remarkable silence... But I am very disappointed! For the last two weeks or so, this power supply has been producing an unacceptable noise for a product of this type. I've been around the PC and other fans, but this is the one that sends me a sort of permanent bell-like noise. Of course, the noise is low and it's covered up whenever there's music or some loud outside noise. But for working in peace and quiet, it's really not! (I recorded the sound, too bad you can't attach a file here...) The LDLC after-sales service has been alerted but their answer is to send them back the complete tower! I might as well say that I will be deprived of my work tool for a fortnight! There is a shop not too far from where I live where I could exchange it (100 kms away) but as I bought my PC on the web, they tell me it's not possible or at my expense.... Everyone can appreciate it!
My comment will be neither particularly informed nor particularly objective. I have never had any trouble with a Be Quiet! power supply and I swear by this brand. The operation is as usual very quiet (this is a criterion that counts for me) and I appreciated the simplification of the management cable provided by the semi-modular character of this power supply.
It's all in the title, if you don't need a power monster this power supply will do the job very well in an impressive silence!
Very low noise level. I am extremely satisfied with it, especially considering the low price. The fact that this power supply is modular allows me to select only the strictly necessary cables. It is much cleaner in my case.
As mentioned in the description, this power supply is quiet and the fact that it is modular really appealed to me, it avoids having cables that we don't need lying around in our computer.
Moreover it is 80 PLUS Gold certified which also made my choice!
