This highly efficient unit incorporates an innovative fan control system that allows the fan to not start at low load and only start when the temperature requires cooling. If you want the fan to be always on, simply press the hybrid mode button on the back of the power supply. Fully modular, it allows for a clean, customisable installation while helping to improve internal airflow.
High performance hydrodynamic bearing fans (FDB) are designed to take advantage of the impact of oil absorption effects. They are extremely reliable and generate much less noise and heat during operation than ball bearing fans. Lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration, which also reduces the fan's overall power consumption. With smoother, quieter rotation and quality construction, this highly reliable technology also increases the life of the fan.
As the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil spreads along the grooves in the bearing sleeve to create a thin layer of lubrication on the ball bearing. As the speed increases, so does the dynamic pressure of the oil. The fan shaft then lifts off the bearing to rotate effortlessly. The herringbone shape of the grooves ensures that the lubricant is channelled effectively and thus prevents leakage.

Power supply that meets my expectations (650W). Very quiet. Completely modular, impeccable, only the necessary cables are connected. Seasonic is well known. To see in time for its silence and its reliability. I recommend it.

Totally modular which allows you to manage your own cabling without having a lot of cable lying around in the PC.
