High performance hydrodynamic bearing fans (FDB) are designed to take advantage of the impact of oil absorption effects. They are extremely reliable and generate much less noise and heat during operation than ball bearing fans. Lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration, which also reduces the fan's overall power consumption. With smoother, quieter rotation and quality construction, this highly reliable technology also increases the life of the fan.
As the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil spreads along the grooves in the bearing sleeve to create a thin layer of lubrication on the ball bearing. As the speed increases, so does the dynamic pressure of the oil. The fan shaft then lifts off the bearing to rotate effortlessly. The chevron shape of the grooves ensures that the lubricant is channelled effectively and thus prevents leakage.

the 1st power supply didn't work, so we returned it. The second works well. Good advice before the sale and good follow-up with the customer service. I recommend LDLC.
Very good quality power supply, with enough cables for a complex PC (lots of disks, large graphics card).
Initially I'd chosen a Corsair power supply but it was too long for my case (Fractal Design Core 500) and it turns out that my new case (Fractal Design Pop Air) wouldn't have had enough space. The Seasonic power supply, on the other hand, has more reasonable dimensions which should fit all cases.
I was a bit worried that 850W wouldn't be enough to power a radeon 7900XTX and a ryzen 5800X3D but after two weeks of intensive testing it seems to be holding up!
I've been using it practically every day for 4 years, and I have no regrets.
Very quiet, cables a little too rigid (but at the same time you don't change their position too often)
i7 8086 OC + 7800XT + a few disks and fans: no issues at all
I would recommend
Silent and economical power supply (40W measured when the computer is at rest), with removable cables, which limits the mess in the tower. The only drawback is that all the wires are black, which is good for aesthetics, but could be a limiting factor if you need to do some fiddling later on (a PC power supply provides several different voltages and the colours make it possible to identify them)...
I couldn't finish plugging it in because I have a doubt about the CPU connector.

I have a 6 pin connector on the board but only 4 pin cables or 2 x 4.
So I don't know yet.
My previous Seasonic power supply is still performing well in my old configuration.

Perfect, very good material. It was just what I wanted. I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the product.
I don't use it in hybrid mode (my camera is not optimal for this function), but it is totally silent.
Power supply that meets my expectations (650W). Very quiet. Completely modular, impeccable, only the necessary cables are connected. Seasonic is well known. To see in time for its silence and its reliability. I recommend it.
