HUB not clear on connections

I bought this HUb usb because it had A and C so I could have usb -c for my pc.
The problem is that the usb connection cable is B/C so I can't use it... they could have put in a B/A usb cable so I'm looking forward to another usb C/A adapter which is a waste of time and money.
