    Good choice, well almost!

    Super projector, top brightness, colourimetry and contrast. Even the sound isn't bad at all, and its short focal length means you can fit it between you and the screen and avoid getting your feet in the wires if you go for a pee during the interval. The only downside is that it uses a mercury lamp, which is "not good for the planet". I'm a bit ashamed, especially as I used to have one with a led lamp, but the performance for the price encouraged me to choose this one. I promise to use it sparingly.

    It took me a while to choose a short throw projector.

    Excellent value for money

    This projector is really great!
    With about 1m of distance I have a 200x150cm screen ... the short focal length (combined with the 1,2x zoom) is terribly efficient.
    The brightness is just incredible (real 3000 lumens!). You can watch the picture without closing the shutters or curtains. The LumiExpert function is a real plus to automatically adjust the gamma according to the ambient light level.
    I was also very impressed by its audio performance and its discreet ventilation.
    The "factory" settings give a very nice picture. For the purists, the OSD interface is very well thought out to change the settings quickly (I have a small preference for the Vivid TV mode).
    Its light weight makes it suitable for mobile use (which is my case).
    For the moment, I haven't noticed any "rainbow" artefacts.
    However, I have three complaints:
    - The keystone correction is not automatic (unlike my old projector)
    - The USB port is only used to power an HDMI dongle (impossible to read files)
    - It does not come with a carrying case and an HDMI cable
