Overall satisfied. I connected it to my NVIDIA shield.
Quite easy to configure. Nice image, nice colours.
A bit noisy though and I find it a bit expensive, hence the four stars.
I'm still evaluating whether or not I like the short focal length: instead of putting the projo at the back, it should be placed in the middle of the room... For the moment I'm putting it on a coffee table but I intend to mount it on the ceiling.
The projector delivers great colour and contrast with the factory settings alone, and with the short focal length I have a 3m image without zooming the projector placed at a distance of 2.60m and at a height of 2.10m.
The projector is a great choice for games and videos in 4K and 1080p, even HDR gives a good result if you have a HDMI 2.0 4K 18GB/S cable, and the sound is good, not to beat you up but correct.
I have compared it to the BENQ 1080st and the LG HU70LS, the BENQ TH690ST is by far the best in terms of contrast, colour and definition of 4K video, despite the fact that it is not natively 4K, and the good result it gives with HDR.
The fan is not too noisy, as long as you leave it in eco mode.
I'm not sure I'll ever be able to use it again, but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to use it again.
