    Very disappointed (for once)

    Purchase of a WD 4003 FFBX drive for a Synology 216J NAS in January 2024.
    Detection of a faulty storage group that requires the drive to be changed.

    The first problem was that as I'd bought it over the Internet and not in a shop, it couldn't be taken back by the shop in Rennes where I'd been!
    In a hurry, I decided to buy a replacement in the shop.
    I was sold a WD40EFPX.
    Repairing the storage group on my NAS didn't work.
    I checked the Synology website and saw that it wasn't on the compatibility list.
    I called the shop and the person I spoke to told me it was compatible.

    Disappointed with the PRO quality, I bought 2 HDD of 4To and 1 arrived defective. An exchange was made, but after 10 months of use (in a Nas) the first HDD has defective sectors (90). Fortunately they are guaranteed for 5 years.
