Exceptional image quality in 6K!The Panasonic hybrid camera features a 20.3-megapixel Live MOS sensor with no low-pass filter for detailed images and accurate colour. It also features the Venus Engine 10 processor for multi-pixel luminance analysis and intelligent detail processing.
The DMC-GH5 will take you to a new dimension with the ability to capture unlimited bursts (depending on storage space) in 6K at 30 fps or 4K at 60 fps. Then choose the image you want to keep and save it. Two SD card slots are available for simultaneous, consecutive or separate recording (photo and video). |

4K 60p/50p videoShift into high gear in video mode with crisp, smooth 4K 60p/50p recording. You'll also enjoy excellent motion compensation, rolling shutter suppression and cropping-free capture. Finally, you'll be able to record for more than 30 minutes, regardless of the settings.
What's more, the DMC-GH5 features internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording for true colour and tone reproduction. Save your movies directly to an SD card while feeding the live signal through an HDMI port connected to an external recorder or monitor. Finally, a 400Mbps recording mode (ALL-Intra) is available (via firmware update in H2 2017). |
Focus in 0.05 secondsTo make sure you don't miss any of the action, the DC-GH5 features a 225-zone autofocus with Depth From Defocus (DFD) technology. DFD allows rapid calculation of the distance to the subject by comparing the depth of field between two images and the speed at which the subject is moving.
