Quick and easy installation. Only module (after trying others) that instantly solved a major reception problem. Immediate connection to the network, no dropouts, high transfer capacity.
Although a little expensive, it does the job very well.
One star less for the price, and another for the fact that it is not natively supported under standard Linux distros, but the following driver works very well: https://github.com/morrownr/8814au
I had to move my desktop PC which was directly connected to the box, so I opted for this product. Nothing to complain about, I don't see any difference in connection!
I've just bought a wifi usb stick which is ASUS USB-AC68. I'm not satisfied at all with the usb stick because it doesn't meet my criteria.I'm not satisfied with the USB flash drive because it doesn't meet my expectations. First of all, given the price of the USB flash drive (84.95 €), I was expecting a top of the range product with practically no defects, but if I write this comment, it's because I'm not satisfied at all because the price is high and the results are not good enough, because if I believe the description, it's supposed to be able to go up to 1,300 Mb/s (5 GHz) and 600 Mb/s. However, when I tested my connection with my ethernet cable I notice that I have 900 in ascending and 215 in ascending but when I replace my connection by ethernet cable by my USB wifi connection I am blocked has 160 in ascending and 80 in descending I would like to know why my connection is limited moreover apart from an execrable connection I noted jumps of ping passing from 32 ms has 600 ms

my fibre optic box is about 35m from this wifi key with the walls and everything that goes with it ........ i have 100% network .... my fibre optic speed is the same as with the cable connection..... nothing else to report ........ just need to adjust your box for an optimal wifi connection
After installing the supplied driver, the key works straight away.
The transfer rate is very good +- 55 Mbits/sec and the fact of unfolding or not the antennas does not change much the speeds.
All in all, a very good product.
This product is for my father, however given his feedback: We have a wifi adapter with a very stable and powerful signal with a box not far away with a wall that separates the adapter and the box.
Before the installation of the new material, we were in 2,5 Ghz offering already a sick flow i.e. 50 mega! Knowing that before the breakdown of his old adapter bought at 15€ elsewhere it was only 2 mega and still ... After, with the new material, we type with Wi-fi 5ghz and we exceed the 100. (sorry I don't remember the exact figures) knowing that we have an orange fibre box that meets the adapter's compatible standard.
It may be expensive, but the quality is there and not to mention the basic recognition by windows without a driver but which will require the drivers of it if you really want to use it to 100% of its capabilities.
After hardware difficulties with the WiFi chipset built into my laptop, I had to opt for an external solution.
I was a bit worried about using WiFi via USB because of the data rate, but since this stick is USB3 there are no performance issues. The drivers were correctly installed in Windows 10 Pro and I use it daily. The fact remains that the stick is a bit more expensive than other models on the market, probably because of the brand. The stick is also a bit bulky but still a very good product.
The 5g requires the software to be installed unlike the 2.4g which is recognised by Windows. A good seat and especially an offset to receive the best ... I recommend this wifi key.
This product meets my expectations in terms of WiFi ac standard performance in 2.4G as well as in 5G.
It has a very nice design, I recommend it.
