I bought this for my desktop PC, it works well but only serves as a simple wifi connection.
I have also tested it on my laptop, even being next to the box the speed is lower than the original wifi card

WI-FI key supplied with a driver on CD. The driver will tell you when to plug in the key, if it is plugged in before it will not be detected. You will have to unplug it and plug it back in. Sad but usual speed: it downloads at 1.8 mo/sec with RJ45 cable, and 1.8 mo/sec also with this wi-fi key, at 8 meters from the box (no wall between the box and the receiver)
