It has so many ultra-practical functions that it's an irreplaceable everyday tool.
I bought this mouse in combination with the MX Keys keyboard. I received it about a week ago. It works very well on Linux (Ubuntu) as long as you install solaar for the finer settings. The dongle is natively recognised and connects easily to both mouse and keyboard, which is a real plus. The battery seems to hold a charge very well.
The grip is pleasant and the buttons are ideally placed, with the possible exception of the side scroll wheel, which is slightly too high, but is still easy to use. The disengageable main dial is really appreciated. It's a shame that some of the finest settings aren't easy to use on Linux.

The touch of the shell is pleasant (rubber effect, slight grip). The click is gentle but still perceptible.
The detachable thumbwheel is a joy. Positioning the thumbwheel on the thumb requires you to move it up a little.
Works natively under Linux with kernel 5.15.0-78. Under KDE, there's no GUI for configuring the horizontal scroll wheel, so I installed the solaar package (available in the Debian and Ubuntu repositories) which allows additional settings (including the scrolling direction of the scroll wheel).
I haven't yet found a way to configure the thumb-rest button. Some blogs and forums say that it corresponds to the combination ctrl+alt+tab but nothing happens when I assign this command to a shortcut.
A button under the mouse lets you switch between three Bluetooth receivers, and the change is almost instantaneous. It's a shame the button isn't accessible from the top.
The mouse itself is very nice but the button to switch from one computer to another is located... under the mouse... This makes the operation of migrating from one computer to another (my reason for buying it) not very smooth...
Note: contrary to what I expected, the reconfigurable buttons allow a lot of things but do not allow to reconfigure the switch.
