Windows startup, file copying, program/game loading are all done at breathtaking speed! Samsung is well known for its SSDs, and I'm not disappointed with the results! Samsung a safe bet.

This SSD is very good for its price but let's just say that I would have preferred 6,000 write speeds just to say something negative. Otherwise, it performs well, nothing to complain about. For the price, frankly, Samsung is just that good.

I ran a CrystalDiskMark to have a benchmark on read and write speeds and it's pretty good, it matches what is advertised :)

It goes too fast, I can't get near the limits of this SSD.
Doesn't heat up at all, T° max reached 53° for intense use (backup, housework, moving data from one drive to another...).
Works very well. No problems with assembly or start-up. Would recommend. Also well packaged.
It's in the title, very fast and doesn't heat up much with my motherboard's heatsink on it, without a heatsink no idea of the temperatures...
Simply fast, mounted on a X570S Aero G motherboard. Samsung's reliability is evident in this Pro version.

Disassembled baby, almost all parts still working .... (the motherboard was starting to fail) ... I opted for this configuration which may not be the best of the best, but which suits me perfectly for studio work ... and with a good reorganization of my case I went from a consumption in idle of 230W to a consumption of 83W ... but when you work on Premiere Pro it is really worthwhile to rely on NVMe in PCIe 4.0 Gen4 .... it's a bit more powerful than SSD in SATA 3 ... I'm very happy with the service and the quality of the product.

I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.
At the time of purchase the articles said that the Ssd firmware could kill writing in record time and put the Ssd in read only mode. After downloading the Samsung software I was lucky enough to see that the firmware was the latest and so I am relieved. I've been using it for a while now and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to change it.
Samsung does not disappoint. This SSD is fast. It doesn't get hot. It will last over time. And for a hundred euros. What more could you ask for? Go for it!
A small SSD in anticipation of a change of configuration, not yet mounted, but to have had a little of all brands (Crucial, Intel, Samsung), I know that Samsung are very good in the exercise. Perf at the RDV!
The SAMSUNG SSD 980 PRO M.2 PCIE NVME 1TB is a very good product, for a very affordable price today, equivalent to the Sabrent. I also recommend the Samsung SSD for its Samsung Magician driver. Knowing that I have been using Samsung SSDs for years.

Under DiskMark64 I have 6900 Mb in reading and 4950 in writing.
When copying large files, I'm getting over 4 GB/s, a far cry from the 160 MB/s of an HDD and 550 MB/s of a 2.5 Sata SSD
I recommend Samsung because other brands use a cache memory and as soon as this one is full the SSD M2 is equivalent in speed to an HDD
Put in place when I upgraded to a Z690 motherboard from a 970 EVO Plus M.2 PCIE NVME.

Very good NVME SSD. Speeds are good (7200 MB/s) under Samsung Magician.
Easy to install. I have not had any problems with the heating because I don't use it much.
This 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD is well suited for gaming, virtualisation or simply copying files. Samsung's advertised data rates of 7000 MB/s read and 5000 MB/s write are well met.

The result is a perfect match and the console doesn't even use the full potential of this SSD. I have paired it with a BeQuiet MC1 cooling system, and I think that the reliability will be total under cooling operation.

This SSD is one of the fastest, with low heat and low failure rates.
It is used for the OS, where the speed of the mass storage is paramount. The whole machine boots in 16 s, including 14 s for the motherboard initialisation. So Linux takes 2 s to boot. This is cool...

I've been using it for my video games, they've never been as fast as they are on the nvme drive compared to a regular ssd and hdd. I keep a regular mlc ssd for my OS to keep a longer life ssd and regular sshdd and hdd for my image/music/document files for long term storage.
I am very happy with it, it works perfectly with my Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE card.
For those who have games and software that are slow to run on your classic ssd, I highly recommend this nvme, there is no better on the market at the moment. :)
Chosen to equip a Gigabyte Z490 AORUS PRO AX motherboard.
Nothing to do with a SATA3 SSD. For information, the copy speed reached in the drive itself: 1 GB/s.
Another useful information is that this SSD is faster when plugged into a PCI 4.0 slot than into a Nvme 3.0 slot.
As far as the operating temperature in gaming mode is concerned: 40°C at most.
The Samsung software is still useful.
It is simply the best SSD on the market by far in terms of performance,

Attention it is only compatible with Gen 4 PCIe 4.0 and only AMD motherboards (B550 for example) have this compatibility for the moment.
