After testing the product, I realised that the sound from the microphone was very low and of poor quality. Everything is at maximum on Windows, and the iCue software on the Corsair site, even with boost 10, doesn't help. I've already tried a few tips from Corsair, such as switching to DVD quality etc., but they don't know how to do that either. But that just solves the volume problem, not the quality and background noise. I compared it with an old, cheaper mic, and at the same volume, the quality was much better on my old mic.
The rest of the headset is fine for me, but the microphone is a no-go.
The only downside is the "big" usb stick.
Apart from this good quality
I received the headset a week ago and it is top notch, both in sound and microphone. The surround sound is very nice on fps games. I've been using the headset for a while now and it's great to be able to adjust the headset to the way you want it to be.
Don't buy this helmet if you don't want to buy another one 1 year later.
- Battery does not hold its charge (although the headset was changed very shortly after purchase)
- The battery level indicator with the iCue software is random and never shows the right percentage
The headset is quite heavy so for example when you look at the ground your headset will fall off. Finally the microphone is not as good.
Disappointed with Corsair, at this price you can find much better.

It is a very good headset, both for the design, the quality of the headset and the sound quality which is almost irreproachable and adjustable with iCue (the Corsair software). I've never had the full 16 hours of battery life since I got the headphones. I never had the 16 hours of autonomy as Corsair indicates but rather 6-7 hours at the beginning and today I'm at 3 hours with a recharge that lasts one day.
It's not really great for the price.
At first I gave it a bad rating, but it turns out that with time, and firmware updates the product is improving, it is just necessary, in case of unnecessary interruptions, to disable the automatic standby

- The autonomy is ridiculous: not even 3 hours while Corsair announces 16 hours!!!
- the headset fits very badly on the head
- 120€ for this object, it's a steal (from Corsair, LDLC has nothing to do with it)
I'm happy with it overall, it looks good, has good sound quality for both listening and speaking. The range is not huge but it's enough to get around.
The only weak point to say would be the activation of the microphone that sometimes bug.
Received quickly as always. Comfortable and excellent quality headphones.
However, I was disappointed with the battery life. It is announced in the description up to 16h00 of autonomy. I am currently using it for a remote training on Zoom and in 3 hours it has lost 50% of its battery. I have also noticed that it never charges fully. Not more than 90%...
Christmas present for my husband. He is delighted! He loves the corsair brand. I have nothing else to say but my comment must be more than 100 letters long...
I have never been disappointed with Corsair. I've been using this headset for several months now, the battery holds well, the sound is good. I had been using the same one but with a cable for 4 years and it still works very well, I just wanted to get rid of the wires ^^
The only "worry" is that it is not very tight on the head so if you move too much it can slip... But personally it's not disturbing.
So excellent value for money.
And ldlc is still as efficient as ever! :)
Please note!
Despite the descriptions the headset is not compatible with the PS4.
The sound adjustment wheel is inoperative on PS4. This means that the sound quality is EXTREMELY poor and very weak.
On the other hand, on PC it is a very good headset with a relatively low autonomy.
After 3 minutes of testing on PS4 and 5 to 6 hours on PC, I took out my Asus ROG STRIx Wireless headset which is now 5 years old, which holds with tape but which is far superior to this Corsair headset which is very mediocre compared to what we know from them.
I thought the product was ok until the moment when just listening to music the right ear almost doesn't work anymore, the sound is reduced by at least 50% (you don't feel the bass anymore) after only 1 month of use or so.
I gave a score of 7 because I really expected to have a sound that was quite good for the price of this headset.7.1 is only virtual and not pure.As for charging the headset, there are some problems with charging via the Corsair ST 100 headset support.The headset is very nice, but it's like a pair of shoes, some are very nice but they hurt your feet.I miss my good old Asus Orion pro where the 7.1 was at its best.
I give this headset a thumbs down because there are a few things I'm not satisfied with after 2 months of use.
Positive points: (personal opinion)
- the quality of the materials and finish of the headset
- the comfort during a long session of games / !
- the autonomy of load correct a little less than mentioned but not much less either,
- quality of the microphone (feedback from people I play with)
Negative point personal opinion too)
- the comfort (and yes I know it is also in the good point do not worry I explain myself) it is especially about the maintenance of the helmet on the head in the slightest movement a little too abrupt/rapid the helmet rocks and it is a little disturbing
- the charging port which does not make the connection as it should after only 2 months of use, then I surely fell on a bad series with the chance that I have for that I will put it in guarantee,
- I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check it out and see if it's working properly and if it is.
I'm going to put a warranty on it.
