I am an amateur videographer and have been editing video for several years. I was looking to replace an old 21.5" Ultrasharp FHD NT.
This Asus model is true to what I read before my purchase: It is good everywhere. The size is ideal for 27" in this resolution, the panel offers a generous 109 ppi, which a 32" WQHD will not be able to give. Very good screen
Coming from a 1080p screen the difference in the games is huge, the textures finally look like textures!
For 144hz at first I didn't feel any big difference, it's 2 weeks later when I put the screen in 60 hz via the Nvidia panel that I hallucinated it's just not possible anymore... it even hurts my eyes to go back to 60 hz.
The G-sync coupled with ELMB works wonders, even when dropping to 50/55 FPS for example on BF5 it doesn't lag, pretty amazing.
The HDR on the other hand is anecdotal... I didn't buy this screen for this technology and I was right, indeed when you activate the HDR it automatically deactivates the G-sync and the ELMB, you don't have access to the different basic settings like "landscape mode" "race mode" etc... so I totally deactivated the HDR and I don't miss it.
For the record: having a GTX 1070, an I5 7600 and 16gb of ram this is the ideal screen. By enabling DSR via the NVIDIA panel I tried to play in 4k but it's unplayable because it's so heavy for my setup. I'd much rather have a really good native 1440p screen like this than a 2160p with 40/45 FPS...

Very good, not disappointed

Very good screen, I bought it following the replacement of my Acer Predator XB271HKBMIPRZ 4k screen which ended its life with the burnt out circuit board (rip).
I chose to go with a lower resolution, but I take comfort in the fact that I have a lot more FPS with this screen, because unfortunately having an RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z 11GB is not enough to play in ultra 4k on some games.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the screen for the basic settings, but I think the colours are too "burnt" but after some adjustments it's perfect. No dead pixels, really no defects to report.
And the joystick to browse the osd is excellent.
I like it less:
Doesn't do coffee, but that's not a big deal, I don't drink coffee.
