This small portable hard drive is just right for my purposes, i.e. backup and portability of various documents. The 2 TB capacity gives you a certain amount of time before you need to think about changing the media.

After a normal first use, the HDD became very, very slow ... no shocks or misuse in the meantime. I don't understand what's causing the problem.

I am very pleased with this hard drive. It is a compact and practical hard drive.
I took a 2TB to not be too greedy, it is presented as a 2.5 inch HDD box with a single usb connection. The transfer is fast and that's good. my pc in ssd plus this external hard drive I'm at 130 mo/s transfer, it's very pleasant.
Small pocket-sized disk, which I use occasionally for backup.
You just have to connect it and you can use it directly. (I use it under PC/Windows environment).

I give it a very good mark because I usually buy Western Digital hard drives, so I already knew I would be satisfied. There are a few things to do, like formatting in eXFat so that the HDD is usable by the iPad. So 2TB of extra memory to use via a HUB. This is perhaps the only "negative point" after I admit I didn't really look for it, it should have had a USB C input and a thunderbolt or USB type C cable to make this purchase easier to use. Nothing to say otherwise!

Attention this disk is now delivered in GPT partitioning, which is incompatible with certain old systems like for example in my case a Blue Ray recorder player for TV. It is necessary to convert it into MBR (via diskpart Windows for ex) then to create the partition simple volume with a manager of disc. Simple to do but you need to know how to do it.
The actual size available is 1.81 TB, mind you. For the rest, this hard drive is slightly thicker than its 500GB and 1TB versions (which I own). No problems with the operation, at least for the time being and like the other two. Transfers are done quickly and correctly. A very good product (and brand) that I recommend.
Very good product. Good value for money. However, the cardboard packaging does not indicate that it is a USB 3.0 connection. I would have liked to have seen this product in a shop.
A good hard drive for data storage, videos, music and the like. It is fast enough for the use I have. I had no trouble setting it up. I am running Windows 10 ...
I am a little disappointed because on the specifications of this hard drive it says it is Windows XP compatible and it is not. It is not recognized under Windows XP 32 bits. I have to recondition it by using the "diskpart" command under Dos, then initialize it and format it (very long). So it is not usable immediately under Win XP, only from Windows 7. Otherwise, it is delivered perfectly. Please update your data sheets for the next time.
