I use it to connect my TV and my connected Yamaha amplifier.
Hello, I do not recommend it. Overnight, the ports slowed down to 100 Mbps for no reason, and unplugging and replugging it does not change anything. Is a refund possible?
Known bug on this model: randomly, the port to be connected to the router (internet box) switches to 100Mb, which will therefore throttle all ports...
There are many cases of this on the internet, so definitely do not buy it.
I replaced it with an Essential B, which is £10 cheaper and works perfectly.
Once installed, the flow works perfectly between the different outputs. In short, we don't hear about it anymore.

It does the job for my basic use and it wasn't expensive, but I'll have to wait and see.

The device works very well. I was looking for an Ethernet multi-socket and I found it. I just wish I had bought it sooner! I plugged it into the Freeplugs network cable and you can plug in 4 other devices that need a connection, such as the freeplayer, PS4, connected TV etc...The device makes no noise. There are LED's to show when the internet is on and off and there is another LED to show that the product is switched on. I have fixed it vertically to the back of the cabinet, which stabilizes the whole system and does not interfere with cleaning and moving the cabinet.
To sum up: no problem. The freebox doesn't show any problem with the image on the TV or youtube, and no loss of connection when I play online with the console. I recommend this switch, simple and effective.

Small and efficient. It connects two desktop PCs, a router (box) and a NAS (Raspberry Pi 4) in gigabit. No problems so far.
Very good product, true to the description. There is of course a charger included in the box which is about a meter long. The LEDs are quite powerful, which is something to consider if this box is to be used in a bedroom.

The device is robust and compact, even the power supply. It can be hung from below. The LEDs are discreet, except for the power supply.
One point of improvement would be to put the power supply on the same side as the connections.

Works perfectly but beware, there is one port that serves as an input so you will only have 4 outputs.
Let's say it right away, the device does its job without any problem, no loss of flow, automatic management of port mapping, really no worries.
The only thing I would say is that the design of the device is a little bit different, because on one side of the device you plug in the adapter plug, and instead of plugging in the RJ45 plugs on the same side (which would have been more aesthetic, I think) you plug them in on the other side, so you can see the cables :)
I've read in the comments that the adapter could make noise? for my part no worries on this side, it is silent.
I recommend, if you don't pay attention to the cables from a visual point of view.
I'm not sure how to use it, but I'm sure it's a good idea to use it.

Unpacked, plugged in. First observation: the power supply whistles. Very annoying when the switch is to be integrated in an audio studio. To see if the QoS is effective.
I complete it at the end of 2018:
The device is still installed in the audio studio. The power supply has been replaced by a silent model. I use it to connect audio interfaces on a DANTE network. I run 192kHz/24bit audio through it with 24 inputs and 8 outputs without any problems.
I'm raising the rating to 4* and not 5 because of the power supply.
It's the first switch I've bought and I haven't had any problems since I bought it, it does the job for not too much money and the lifetime warranty is reassuring, slight downside for the design that I find too simple but that's it
