I only use cooler master to cool the cpu, no worries about mounting on AM4. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a cooler master or not, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a cooler master or not.
I bought this fan on the advice of LDLC to replace the original Intel fan.
I wanted to keep the same simple mounting system and a reasonable price.
I gained +20° compared to the original ventirad (in association with Artic Silver Ceramic 2 thermal paste).
The only drawback is that the plastic mounting brackets are a bit fragile, so be careful not to break them during installation.
Mounted on an i3-9100F it cools it very well, the mounting can be improved, the price seems reasonable.
Very quiet in office/multimedia, more than ok under full load.
So, yes it is adaptable on AM4, because yes on the box it is not written but on LDLC it is :) .
The design is relatively old but it is still efficient, we come back to the design of the glossy varnished fans, the flashy grey metal cable, and the white connection ... well it's a bit old school but it works and on the whole it's not so old fashioned as it is.
So I'm not going to make a fault of the design, it's up to you, but for me there is one .... the fixing on AM4 is ... I'm not sure what to do about it, but I'm sure it's a good idea to try and get it to work for you. Having mounted hundreds of configurations, I doubted the mounting .... in the end no breakage. But I don't like this relatively high tension on the CPU.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a different CPU than the one I'm using now, but it's a good idea. Intel I have not tested but it should not be complicated.
I think that for someone who mounts his first configuration, it must already feel tight, so if you add the latch tightening ... It doesn't give you confidence.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do this, but I'm sure I'll be able to do it in a few days. So opinions vary depending on the person.
Very inconvenient to set up, very poorly explained instructions. You don't know if everything is correctly in place or if it will move with time.
Mounted as a replacement for the original Intel (i5 2500k). I wanted the Oc, this one logically coming into its own.
The Intel bindings are particularly crappy to fix, it took a lot of patience and adjustments to get it right. I should point out that I'm experienced in this field, it's the first time that this type of binding gives me so much trouble (the reason for the 8/10)
Once installed, works well, does the job.

The fan was received out of order. I was asked to send the whole thing back at my expense, although a fan alone costs about 5 euros. I bought it on a...z
I decided to buy this ventirad to replace my stock Intel ventirad that I had never changed. However, I was surprised to discover that the backplate of my CPU was in fact stuck to my motherboard (OEM PC offered). It was therefore impossible to use the Intel push-pins.
After 4 days of Google searches, disassembling, reassembling, multiple tests, I finally managed to fix this fridge.
For those who have the same problem: remove the Intel push-pins from the backplate, and use 3*25 screws (in my case I reuse the OEM backplate glued in place) with 2 washers (like the old ventirad screws before the Intel push-pins) with a spring and a double nut fixing (on both sides of the "stock" hole, and a circular elastomer gasket for the electrical isolation of the ventirad from the motherboard. A lot of elbow grease, "tricks" that will depend on your case, but the assembly is possible.
As for the use: nothing better for such a price. 4 pin connector with regulation, 30-40°C idle on an i7-4790 and 60-70° under full load (Aida64 test with CPU at 100% for 5mn). 1700RPM on average, quite quiet for this price. I recommend, especially if you have a CM that hasn't been tampered with by a nasty manufacturer.

I've been using it for a while now, but it's not for me on the day I installed it, because I've been pushing it, and it's been a bit of a mess with the processor and the motherboard, but I'm still confident in ldlc.
The fan works well, was delivered quickly, nothing to complain about.

The guys named Anthony and Alexandre found me the right ventirad.
-Very good ventirad for its price, and takes up very little space in a medium tower.
-Beware of Jean-Michel Bras De Fer as the fixings look fragile.
Thermal paste supplied, set of clips to install a second fan if you wish, additional anti-vibration foam.... complete kit.
This ventirad made me gain 15 to 20 degrees compared to the stock vetirad of intel (which already did not pose problems of overheating)
I don't regret my purchase.
It is possible to remove the fan from the radiator to place it more easily on the motherboard, it is also possible to put a second fan on the other side (not supplied).
The thermal paste is to be applied by yourself and is supplied in a small syringe, and there is enough for two applications if you miss.
The instructions are clear, but take a small screwdriver because you will have to fix the right tabs to the fan according to your socket (compatible with several Intel and AMD sockets)
Mounted on a ryzen 5 1600x, works great, it's pretty quiet for the price it's well worth it. The AM4 socket mounting is really horrible, you have to tighten a kind of hook but when you do it you are afraid to bend the ventirad and break the cm, if you have an amd processor I don't recommend it, but for the rest it does its job very well so I leave 4 stars.

For the price nothing to complain about, the cooling performance is good, the fan is relatively quiet. I use it on an i5-2400 with a rather restricted airflow (tower inside a cabinet, due to lack of space) and I never exceed 65 degrees at full load. This is still better than the horrible rad stock Intel.
However, for those who often dismantle the fan, I would recommend the model above, i.e. the 212X or Evo, because the legs of the TX3 Evo are made of plastic. I'm not worried about this at all, but I didn't pay attention to this detail when I bought it, so I hope that my remark will be useful.
only two days since it was installed, but nothing to say so far, easy to install and very quiet, cpu at 39°, thermal paste supplied, what more could you ask for for the price, so I recommend without any problem
I understand better now where my in game blockages come from after 5 to 15 min, my processor (i5 4590) heats up to 90°, this ventirad doesn't even fit with its cheap eco+ fixings I hope the pros don't have anything because in the meantime the warranties of my parts ordered on ldlc have surely passed by 1 or 2 months (well what a coincidence...), conclusion don't buy this crap! I don't even know how it can be in the top sales!
Very good fridge, taken to replace the original one on an i3 6100 to have mainly better acoustic performance.
It holds the processor under 30° in idle and goes up to 75° on Aida64 (which is a synthetic bench, and not representative of a real use of the product)
No backplate, a bit disconcerting to set up but not completely inaccessible to the beginner.
A cooler master, nothing more to say!
Super simple to mount (for a socket 1151, take the 1155 mount and all is good), very elegant and works very well in its main role: cooling the processor.

Ultra quiet, ultra annoying... to mount on a Ryzen, but go google, there are plenty of tutorials. The documentation is pretty lousy for this mounting configuration.
But the product is really great, beyond my expectations.

I've been using it for a while now, but it's a very good cooling system, very quiet, but the manual is not very clear on the socket 1150, with a little bit of logic you can get away with it (middle hole). Just to complain I'm taking away half a point but it's a very good fan.
I had to dismantle the motherboard to be able to practice flat on a table.
I had to disassemble the motherboard to be able to practice flat on a table. Small syringe of thermal foot (grey) provided very useful, it is spread easily on the support of the rad, just be careful not to make slip the block at the time of the fixing with the rod.
For those who wonder about the direction of air flow, on my ASUS M5-A97EVOrev2, the ventirad is upright and perpendicular to the case's fans. The air is pushed into the rad and then exits through the top of the case where the flow from the external fans circulates.
The result is perfect... no more whistling proc fan at the slightest video... It is very quiet.
During video export with openshot video under Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 the temperature of the I5 rose to 86°!
With the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo recommended by LDLC support the temperature of the I5 dropped by more than 25°!
What more could you ask for.

After an afternoon of gaming (The Crew, GTA5) in high quality and a bit of photo processing on Lightroom, the processor quickly came down to 42°.
In my tower since January 2015, I have never had a complaint about this product
This heatsink does its job well installed on an i7 2600 (turbo enabled). Mounting is not complicated. Thermal foot provided. The fan makes almost no noise.
The fan is very quiet, but on some systems it can cause problems with the heatsinks for the RAM modules.

I first owned an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2 which failed me because of a mistake I made. I switched to the hyper tx3 evo, does its job well. The only downside is the attachment to the motherboard. I spent 15min to install the ventirad on the motherboard. The artic one was installed in 2min max.
I'm sure I have nothing to teach you. Perfect packaging, for the assembly the instructions are not very precise so take your time. I had a small problem for my part: the ventirad did not attach well to the motherboard, I do not know why. It cools very well, I recommend it!
Bought this to avoid using the Intel ventirad for my i5-7500, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the CPU temperature does not rise above 60°C in game.
I just had a little trouble mounting it (it's easier after reading the instructions :D )

TX3 EVO mounting is poorly made.
TX3 EVO having too much offset on the motherboard. Consequence of these two factors, a crushing of the processor socket after a few days of use.
The second problem, and for me the most serious, is the state of mind that Mr Dominique of the LDLC after sales service used to send me packing. The second problem is that you only have yourself to blame with your motherboard, your windows to buy again and the famous TX3 EVO that they don't take back because it is used.
Frankly the shame for a French company, moreover Lyonnaise.
the fan is perfect: it does the job well and is quiet in normal mode. It's not too tall and therefore fits easily into a medium tower.
The only problem is the mounting. The little plastic tips tend not to fit directly into the hole on the motherboard. I had to dismantle the motherboard to make sure that each endcap was fully inserted (and not just half as it happened to me by simply clipping it in at the beginning).
For the price it is top notch.
Really a good buy. The price is right, the small tube of thermal paste is included with the fan.

Before with the basic processor fan (a simple propeller), when I played an online game, wow not to mention, the temperature of the 4 cores oscillated between 100° and 105° (yes that's what pushed me to invest in this Cooler Master TX3 EVO fan.
Now, by playing with the ultra settings, no core exceeds 45°.

cools very well and is very quiet but the assembly is rather laborious to find which holes to use for a socket 1151 because not foreseen in the notice. and a little downside on the 4 plastic clips (screws would have inspired more confidence)
Mounted with an i5-6600k, it regulates the temperature of the latter perfectly, in addition it is practical to mount, everything is marked in the manual provided by the manufacturer, this product is ideal.
It is an excellent value for money offered here.

The fan is good, but the fixings really gave me problems.
It all depends on how the previous fan is fixed. If it was screwed in, it's problematic, if nothing under the CM, the clips won't be a problem.
In my case, it's impossible to remove the screw plate under the processor used to screw the original fan, so I had to do something.
Once installed it blows well and is not too noisy.

It's easy to mount, even if the push pins are a bit limited, it reminds me a bit of the mediocre Intel ventirad.
But once in action, nothing to complain about. Proc at 24 degrees at rest, and 40 in action, and in silence! No noise, nothing...

My AMD A7850k stays at 38°C and when gaming it runs at 45°C. Nothing to say. Difficult to assemble if you are alone. It's better to have someone holding the ventirad while you fix it.
