Powerful, precise and largely automated cleaning
Inspired by the detection and mechatronics technologies developed by DJI for its drones, the ROMO P2 analyses its surroundings and adjusts its behaviour in real time. Its artificial intelligence adapts the cleaning strategy to the type of dirt: it automatically increases suction on carpets, slows down when faced with debris likely to be scattered and treats spilled liquids separately to avoid spreading dirt. Its maximum suction power of 36 000 Pa dislodges embedded dust, while its dual DualSweep side brushes and its robotic arm guided by LiDAR ensure precise coverage of walls, corners, furniture and hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to its robotic legs, it can climb over obstacles up to 4 cm high when there is a single level and up to 8.5 cm when there are two levels. Its transparent design, revealing a carefully organised internal architecture, makes it as aesthetically sophisticated as it is technologically advanced.
Technologies inspired by DJI drones
The ROMO P2 combines 3D ToF LiDAR, two fisheye vision sensors, an upper anti-collision sensor and LiDAR integrated into its robotic arm. This system detects cables just 2 mm thick, recognises transparent obstacles over 6 cm high and operates even in low light. An auxiliary light illuminates up to 2,000 cm² to reveal hidden dust without dazzling occupants or animals. The station completes this automation with a nanocrystalline washing board, four high-pressure water jets and a 16 mm waste suction inlet: the washing board can therefore operate for up to 365 days without maintenance, excluding tank refilling and consumable replacement. The mops are washed at temperatures of up to 80°C and then dried at 60°C. The dust bag UV lighting, dustbin drying, high-efficiency filter and customisable cleaning solutions further enhance hygiene. With a reduction in sound energy of up to 85 %, a claimed level from 38 dBA in quiet washing mode, 55 W fast charging and the DJI Home app, the ROMO P2 combines performance, discretion and ease of use.
