Powerful, precise and largely automated cleaning
Inspired by the detection and mechatronics technologies developed by DJI for its drones, the DJI ROMO A2 turns daily floor maintenance into a truly autonomous experience. Its maximum suction power of 36,000 Pa effectively dislodges embedded dust, particularly from carpets, while its mopping system adapts in real time to the type of dirt. Thanks to artificial intelligence, it recognizes different situations—dense dust, hair, particles likely to disperse or spilled liquids—and automatically adjusts its route, speed, brush action and suction power. Its LiDAR-guided robotic arm precisely reaches edges, corners and spaces under furniture, while its robotic legs overcome obstacles up to 8.5 cm. After each cycle, its base station takes over: high-temperature mop washing, drying, waste suction and automated maintenance of the washing board.

Technologies inspired by DJI drones
The ROMO A2 combines 3D LiDAR ToF, dual fisheye vision sensors, an upper anti-collision sensor and intelligent algorithms to detect obstacles with millimetric precision. It can detect cables as little as 2 mm thick, identify certain transparent objects and continue operating in reduced brightness. Its auxiliary lamp illuminates up to 2,000 cm² to reveal dust in dark areas. The DualSweep system coordinates the side brushes and roller brushes to better channel hair and fibers, with a reported 0% tangling rate during DJI laboratory tests. Its self-cleaning station uses a nanocrystalline washing board, four high-pressure water jets and a 16 mm waste suction opening. The system is rounded out by advanced noise reduction, 55 W fast charging and the DJI Home app, which allows users to view maps, adjust cleaning strategies and use the integrated camera for remote video calls.
