The ICY BOX IB-1980M-80G is an external enclosure designed to house a PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD and take full advantage of your storage performance. Thanks to its Thunderbolt 5 interface delivering speeds of up to 80 Gbit/s, it perfectly meets the needs of content creators, professionals and demanding users for video editing, large file transfers or high-speed backups.
Backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4 and USB 3.x interfaces, it easily integrates into many configurations. Its sturdy aluminum chassis promotes excellent heat dissipation, while its integrated fan, which can be activated via a dedicated switch, ensures efficient cooling during intensive use. SSD installation is tool-free for quick and convenient setup.
