Designed and manufactured for IT professionals, this low-profile, 2-port 5GbE Ethernet PCI-E network card from StarTech.com adds two RJ45 Ethernet ports to a desktop computer or server. Featuring a Realtek RTL8126 chip, this card delivers 2.5G/5G speeds that optimise Cat5e infrastructure. It automatically installs drivers in most operating systems, including Windows 10/11, Linux Ubuntu 20.04/plus and WinServer 22/19. It is compatible with Intel and AMD systems via a PCIe x1, x2, x4, x8, or x16 slot. Fast and efficient, it supports auto-negotiation between 5G/2.5G/1G/100M/10M. Ensure your system is ready as more and more devices become 5G-compatible. 9K jumbo frames, VLAN tagging, and Wake-on-LAN (WoL). It includes full-height brackets (pre-installed) and low-profile brackets (accessories in the box) for installation in compact and standard desktops or servers. It supports PCI Express 3.1.
