TheASUS ROG Thor 1600W Titanium III is a next-generation modular power supply designed for the most demanding gaming PCs. Featuring advanced technologies and a meticulous design, it offers power, energy efficiency and innovative features to meet the needs of gamers and content creators.
The ROG Thor 1600W Titanium III incorporates Gallium Nitride (GaN) MOSFETs, offering up to 30% greater energy efficiency than traditional MOSFETs. This technology provides better internal organisation and optimised heat dissipation. Thanks to the use of low ESR Japanese capacitors, the power supply achieves 94% efficiency at 50% load, earning it 80 PLUS Titanium certification.
To ensure efficient cooling, the PSU is equipped with ROG heat sinks and a double ball-bearing fan, ensuring a service life of up to 80,000 hours. 0dB technology allows the fan to shut down completely when the load is less than 30%, ensuring quiet operation for less demanding tasks.
The ROG Thor 1600W Titanium III offers unique features such as a removable magnetic OLED display, providing a real-time readout of power consumption. The 'GPU-First' mode optimises voltage stability for graphics cards, improving performance during intensive gaming sessions. In addition, the power supply is ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compatible, ensuring compatibility with next-generation components.
