Impressive
Looking for a product that would allow me to gain in compactness (previously using an SLR), I chose this Kodak model and I am not at all disappointed. Compared to an SLR, the space savings and practicality (no need to change lenses) are obvious. And I even gained in optical zoom, not to mention the digital zoom that comes next and which remains really usable given the resolution of the sensor (as well as the stabiliser, which is essential at this zoom level).
Coming from an SLR, the handling and the different modes are relatively easy to understand, but it may take some time for those coming from a compact camera. On the other hand, framing via the display screen is something I have to get used to, so we'll see how it works in bright sunlight.
