Great versatility

The Canon EOS R50 is a hybrid equipped with a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor. It's equipped with the DIGIC X image processor and can capture bursts of up to 23 images per second. It also boasts an extended ISO range, with a maximum sensitivity of ISO 32,000, for exceptional shots even in low light.

As well as stills, this hybrid is also capable of professional-quality video, with 4K resolution at up to 60 fps (cropped mode) and up to 120 fps in Full HD.

CMOS Dual PIxel AF II

With its high-performance autofocus, theCanon EOS R50 hybrid camera lives up to your expectations. TheDual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus system tracks moving subjects precisely and efficiently. It is capable of quickly detecting the faces and eyes of humans, as well as animals and vehicles. It also focuses very effectively in dark environments down to -4 EV.

Adapted to your needs

    A very complete device with good performance and not too complicated to use

    Just after I bought it, I regretted it a little, because I realised that my smartphone took beautiful photos, and that for taking souvenir photos in a sunny setting, the camera was probably not justified. It comes into its own when it comes to taking more complicated photos. Now that I'm getting used to it, I'm really pleased! There are a number of possible settings, ranging from fully automatic mode for taking instant shots to manual modes for doing more elaborate things. The lens that comes with it is 'all-purpose': it offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to framing. In terms of ergonomics, it's fairly simple to use.
