Not perfect
As far as the projector is concerned, I've gone from a Xgimi H1 to the Horizon Ultra. So I have a direct means of comparison for what is supposed to be a 6-year difference in technology.
At first glance, the Horizon Ultra provides an image with much better definition, better colours and better brightness.
As far as contrast is concerned, because of the video projector, the blacks are not perfect and dark scenes are sometimes difficult to read.
The on-board Android interface isn't up to scratch. Given the price of this beast, you'd expect everything to be fluid, but it's far from it. So I don't see any point in reading apps directly on the videoproj.
The optical zoom is appreciable, but I realise that it's still a few notches short of adapting perfectly to my screen. I therefore had to use the Ui digital zoom, which resulted in a loss of quality.
In terms of noise, as with its predecessor, I'm fine. With the exception that I didn't see any way of controlling the fan speed from the interface (something that was possible with my old H1).
In short, I'm happy with my purchase, but it's true that at this price I was expecting perfection.
LDLC service, purchase and communication perfect. Delivery by Chronopost horrible and to proscribe given the lack of professionalism of the service. Prefer another method.
