The card is quiet and small enough to run at full speed in 1440p without any problems. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the power consumption is low, which is great. I'm not sure why I'm paying chrono post for this... usually ldlc does it even on standard deliveries.
I had a 3060Ti Gaming X Trio before, I took this 4070 because it offers 12 GB of VRAM which is really necessary today when you are very demanding in the graphics of games. On the other hand, when it is used at full speed, you can hear a noise, not of fans but of the coil I would say, it is not disturbing when you have headphones but with speakers you can hear it. And also on the level of the performances in game compared to the 3060Ti, that depends on tites (Forza Horizon 5: +20 fps / Cyberpunk 2077: +15 fps / Farcry 6: +10 fps / World of tanks: + of 100 fps!)
In short, it's a good graphics card for the price, I would have preferred the Gaming X Trio version but it was too expensive for me. This Ventus is the perfect compromise.
Nothing to complain about with this 4070 ventus x3.
-150w of power consumption in games with a slight undervolt while increasing the frequency.
-No heating problems although I don't know the temperature of the vrms.

The backplate is not metal but plastok which takes away from the beauty of this card which has a rather dissuasive price.

I had an MSI Gaming 2080.
It was consuming in the 300+W range. And was very massive.
This 4070 is immediately much lighter.
Only one 8 pin port. And only 200W max power consumption (can reach 210W max). So for the OC it will not be extraordinary. But with the increase of the rates of the EDF that does not make evil.
I was a bit worried about the rumours about the rigidity and the heating at the Hotspots.
And for my part I don't have these problems.
The hotspots are even less hot than on my old 2080 MSI Gaming. And as far as performance is concerned, it's very impressive. Cyberpunk can run at 2560x1080p all at FULL + DLLS 2 quality + DLLS 3 + RT OVERDRIVE at over 60 FPS!
With my 2080 I was at 10 FPS (DLLS 2 only of course)
I recommend this CG despite the fact that I would have liked the backplate to be made of metal (like the 2080)
The price is also still a bit high in my opinion, hence my 4 stars instead of 5.
