Great graphics card, which I bought because it's one of the last PCIe 4.0 16x models that was compatible with my "old" motherboard.
I'm delighted with it, it's ultra-quiet, I can run Clair Obscur Expedition 33 at maximum quality without upscaling at 2560 x 1440 without any noise!
It hardly heats up at all; the fans only start up after a good 10 minutes and only at low speed during Star Citizen sessions with all settings configured to HIGH in the options.
plug and play under Linux Ubuntu and Mint
performance-wise, for video editing, what i can say is that: the pc mounted with this graphics card and an i7-14700 gives me a video timeline under Kdenlive that's around 4 times longer or more complex than under my barebone i5 13th with integrated graphics card. compression is noticeably faster, even if i'd hoped for more to see the size of a mounted pc compared to the size of the barebone.
4k screen not tested. multi-screen not tested either. but by feel, I doubt I'll have a graphics card that's a thunderbolt.
As for the smell, I suppose it's the motherboard that's the source of the problem, but maybe the graphics card is involved? from the moment I turn it on until it goes out, the mounted PC emits an unpleasant chemical smell, not thick but unmistakably present. and that's despite the fact that I'm buying + 3 months.
I was really apprehensive given the price but I'm really surprised it works perfectly! I play monster Hunter wilds in ultra! No lag nothing! All my games are ultra fluid! Merci à vous
Compared to my previous asus gtx 1080ti turbo 11 G graphics card, it heats up much less, consumes less power and is very well suited to my QHD 164 mhz screen. Performance is also soaring, which is all to the good in my case.
