After the Switch, Nintendo is offering the Lite version of its flagship console, specially adapted for mobile use and for children. More compact than its big sister, it can only be used in portable mode but retains excellent performance and multiplayer!

After the Switch, Nintendo is now offering a Lite version of its flagship console, specially designed for use on the move and for children: More compact and lighter than its big sister, the Switch Lite nevertheless retains the excellent ARM Cortex-A57 processor and the Tegra X1 graphics chipset to guarantee an optimal gaming experience. As the Switch Lite is designed for portable use, it can't be connected to a TV or used in tabletop mode, as the Joy-Cons are not included. However, it does have built-in controls and is still compatible with all Nintendo Switch software that can be used in portable mode. In addition, up to 8 Switch or Switch Lite devices can still be synced for a great multiplayer experience, and the Nintendo Switch Online subscription is still available!
Play wherever you want
Designed to be used in handheld mode, the Nintendo Switch Lite has built-in controls, which replace the Joy-Con controllers, which are not included. However, the Joy-Con controllers can be purchased separately and connected wirelessly to the Switch Lite.
With a smaller size than the standard Switch (91.1 x 208 x 13.9 mm vs. 102 x 239 x 13.9 mm), the Lite version is easy to carry around so you can play your favourite games on the move, on holiday or just on the sofa! It cannot be connected to a TV, however, as it is intended for mobile use.
You won't be limited in your choice of games, however, as the Switch Lite is compatible with all Switch applications that can be used in portable mode.

While the Switch Lite differs from the standard version in several ways , it still retains the essential multiplayer aspect! In local mode, you can always sync up to 8 Switch or Switch Lite devices to play with your friends (cooperatively or in head-to-head matches) at any time. The Nintendo Switch Online subscription allows you to play remotely with friends or other players from around the world, as well as giving you access to other benefits, such as a regularly updated catalogue of classic NES games.
So equipped, all you have to do is enjoy your games thanks to the 5.5-inch capacitive touch screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. As a bonus, the battery life is increased so that you can play longer without interruption!
