The Cherry SlidePad Ergo is a sliding armrest that improves workplace ergonomics by optimising the position of your forearm to prevent pain when using the keyboard and mouse. It optimises the position of your wrist and forearm to reduce pain from keyboard and mouse use. Your arm rests comfortably on the padded support surface while maintaining full freedom of movement. This means you can move effortlessly from mouse to keyboard with a simple side-to-side movement without having to lift your arm.
The Cherry SlidePad Ergotakes the strain off your arm, promotes a comfortable upright posture in everyday life and helps to relax your shoulders. It helps prevent RSI (also known as "mouse syndrome"), carpal tunnel syndrome, elbow pain or inflammation of the tendon sheaths. It can be used with any mouse or keyboard, including of course vertical mice. It can be used for the left or right arm, or even for both arms by adding a second arm. Position it where it is most comfortable for you, between the front of the wrist and the back of the elbow. It glides smoothly and perfectly over any surface, whether it's a mouse pad or a smooth desk surface. I use it in the office, 40 hours a week, in addition to an ergonomic mouse. This product allows me to move my forearm from the mouse to the keyboard without having to lift it. It glides over the desk top with very little noise.
So I don't have to make any effort to move my right arm, which has eliminated the pain I sometimes feel at the end of the day. What's more, it's comfortable. I can't do without it any more. A very good product.
