The padding is far too hard for my taste, and causes more pain with it than without ... I use it with a vertical mouse (Razer), so the experience may differ from using a conventional mouse.
The product seems to be of good quality (on the whole as it is covered in fabric underneath). However, it is quite small (long and narrow) which is not necessarily very comfortable for large handles. It does look like a bubble, though.
