Equipped with a Sony BSI sensor, the WG-80 delivers low-noise images with superior resolution of approximately 16 million effective pixels. Also, thanks to its high-performance 5x optical folding zoom lens with a maximum aperture of f/3.5, you can enjoy excellent brightness at all times.
This means that even when shooting at constant shutter speeds, the camera does not become too sensitive, and high quality images can be recorded in dark scenes.

The WG-80's rugged, waterproof body is designed to withstand extreme conditions. Not only is it waterproof to 14 metres, dustproof and sandproof, shockproof to a height of 1.6 metres, but it can withstand temperatures down to -10°C and pressure up to 100 kg. So you can have it with you all the time, without having to worry about it working properly.
