This USB Type C to DP 1.4 converter from Lindy is a high performance solution that allows users to easily add external video capabilities to a USB Type C equipped computer with DisplayPort 1. It supports 8K 7680x4320@60Hz and 4K120Hz video resolutions, making it ideal for 8K game streaming or high resolution 8K video editing. Additional support for High Dynamic Range (HDR ) ensures that video content can be viewed with enhanced brightness, higher contrast and a much wider colour gamut for more realistic colours. HDCP 2.2 ensures that Ultra HD 8K movies and other 8K content can be played back without any problems.
The converter is powered by the USB bus, so no external power supply is required, saving space and time when connecting. The reversible design of the C-type connectors means that a connection can be found no matter which way the cable is inserted into the port of a laptop, notebook or Macbook. Thanks to the Plug and Play installation, this converter can be installed with minimal effort, which is perfect for professionals and new users.
